‘Z’ Invests in Ideabaaz to Build India’s Biggest Tier II & III Start-up Discovery Platform

New Delhi [India], July 29: Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (‘Z’), India’s leading Content and Technology powerhouse, has invested an undisclosed amount in Ideabaaz Tech Pvt. Ltd., marking a strategic partnership designed to reshape the start-up ecosystem in India.
This investment underscores Z’s commitment to delivering purposeful entertainment that fuses creativity with technology-led innovation while empowering entrepreneurs across the country.
Ideabaaz, founded by Mr. Jeet Wagh and Family, with Mr. Sagoon Wagh and renowned media veteran Mr. Raj Nayak as co-creators and investors, is India’s first integrated start-up show and platform dedicated to discovering, mentoring, and funding entrepreneurs from Tier II and Tier III cities. The platform aims to foster inclusive innovation, supporting India’s ambition to become a tech-driven economy by 2047.
Under this partnership, ‘Z’ and Ideabaaz will co-develop and launch an original Intellectual Property (IP) titled Ideabaaz, designed as India’s largest start-up discovery platform. The show will offer entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch in their own languages, breaking accessibility barriers while securing funding and mentorship.
The program will be hosted by critically acclaimed actor Pratik Gandhi, bringing his charisma and relatability to a format that promises to blend storytelling with real entrepreneurial journeys.
